The expedition

The next crossing
is never just a road.

Food is running low at the cabin. Staying put is no longer an option. Your group sets out in a tracked snowcat, searching for a way through the mountains to help.

Every stop asks something different of you. Inspect the ice before committing to a crossing. Search abandoned buildings for supplies. Diagnose a mechanical fault, treat an injury, or spend precious daylight preparing a safer route.

Fuel, food, water and warmth all matter. So do the people travelling with you: their skills, their morale, and the choices you make on their behalf.

Choose your next stop, weigh travel costs and risks, and investigate hazards before deciding how to cross.

02 / Endure

Keep everyone going.

Manage limited supplies, changing weather and the condition of your vehicle. A delay can change the journey ahead.

03 / Adapt

Make the hard calls.

Use your crew’s different skills and respond to encounters along the road. Supplies and conditions vary between expeditions, so familiar stops can call for a different plan.
